FOR MORE THAN 75 YEARS, DESIGNERS AND PRINTERS THE WORLD OVER see Sappi as the standard for fine coated paper. As leaders in traditional offset printing paper, Sappi wanted to increase its share of the steadily expanding digital printing market.
To support this goal, our team developed The Digital Design Center, a Flex-based digital printing application. The Digital Design Center allows printers to create custom marketing materials for their own digital printing capabilities, all on Sappi digital paper. The application provides printers with access to professional, rights-managed photography and pre-written sales copy, which can be edited directly online and exported to a PDF format for rapid printing.

FOR ALMOST 75 YEARS, KNOLL HAS CREATED UNFORGETTABLE SPACES through pioneering modernist design and an unrivaled collection of furnishings for work and home. In 2011, Knoll introduced Modern. Integrating print, online and mobile, the campaign debuted in Architectural Digest, where a QR code connects readers directly to a mobile and tablet-friendly micro site. HOMEMADE PIZZA APPROACHED US WITH A DELICIOUSLY COMPLEX CHALLENGE:
to develop a custom application that would allow customers to create and order ready-to-bake pizza. Because all-natural, farm-fresh ingredients are the heart of the HomeMade Pizza brand, the application also required a synchronized pricing system that integrates live market prices, in-store workflow and inventory management.
The result was the PizzaBuilder application. Our team customized Munchaway, a popular brand of online ordering software and adapted it to integrate seamlessly with the company’s existing Aloha POS software workflow. To encourage repeat business, the PizzaBuilder captures data for HomeMade Pizza’s customer loyalty program which provides leads for email and text alert marketing campaigns.
FOR UNCORKED, AN ONLINE LUXURY WINE RETAILER, creating a highly-personalized online experience wasn’t just a business strategy; it was the business model. Conceived as a way to cut through the clutter of the luxury wine landscape, Uncorked.com supplies consumers with quality recommendations and help them develop a personal wine style and preferences.
Our team collaborated with a team of sommeliers, chefs and wine critics to develop a custom wine pairing algorithm for site users. After opening an account on Uncorked, each user receives a personal wine profile. As a consumer rates more wines, the algorithm further refines his or her profile, returning new wine pairing recommendations in the process.
To power Uncorked.com’s online store, we built an ecommerce platform using Magento CE. In addition to custom search displays and a Daily Deal module, this Magento site is fully-integrated with Wordpress, preserving the speed of Magento while delivering the superior SEO benefits of a world-class blogging engine. The online store’s backend design also features API integration to third-party fulfillment and compliance partners, helping reduce time and costs.
